Runaway Bay Centre wanted to mark its 50th anniversary with a golden celebration that rewarded loyal customers and reinvigorated community connection.
BonBon was engaged to develop and deliver Strike Gold, a two-week spend-and-win activation that encouraged shoppers to spend locally. It ran in parallel with Golden Memories, a trip down memory lane that rewarded loyal customers for sharing their favourite Runaway Bay memories.
Through vibrant in-centre activations, custom-built displays and a seamless promotional campaign, BonBon created a festive, high-energy atmosphere that celebrated the centreβs milestone in style.
The activation inspired repeat visitation, engaged centre retailers and fostered heartfelt engagement from the local community.
From dazzling gold-themed visuals to the irresistible launch-day cupcake giveaway, BonBonβs creative and logistical execution turned Runaway Bay Centreβs 50th birthday into a memorable and meaningful experience for customers and retailers alike.
